BMW ‘French Bobber’
The owner of this machine came and see us to convert his BMW R60/2 into whatever we would want to… His only request was to have an electric starter.
We agreed on installing a 800cc boxer engine into this frame. But we changed the whole ignition system by a TCI/CDI one. Just for the fun of it…
We called it “French Bobber” because what could be more French than a German/English unexpected marriage?

- 100% rebuilt BMW R80/7 engine installed in a 100% renewed R60/2 BMW;
- vintage BSA A7 tank;
- Firestone Deluxe Champion rear tyre / Coker Diamond front tyre.

- Matt dark grey powder coated frame.

- tail light coming from a vintage bicycle (converted into 12 Volts);
- all engine covers shiny black powder coated.

- vintage motorcycle fire extinguisher (apparently never used);
- engine painted in high temperature matt black (after top engine rebuilding).

- Amal white grips.
