HD Sportster Venice Vibes
Based on a ’01 883 Harley Davidson Sportster, this machine is our first “made in VB” built.
The idea here was to create a comuter to enjoy both the streets of the grid of LA and the curvy roads of the canyons surronding the City of Angels. To have ridden this one on both pathes, we can proudly say we have achieved the goal we were commissioned for.

- we mounted 18 inches rimmed wheels on both front and rear
- we switched the original belt drive for a more “old school” secondary chain drive
- as usual, we used a yellow light vintage rally light as a headlight
- obviously the “A” does not stand for “Captain America”…
The engine was fully rebuilt and a 2-in-1 exhaust pipe connected to and Vance & Hines muffler has been installed
Venice Beach is a surfers city. No wonder why we used this vintage sterling silver surfer medal from the 60’s (found randomly in a swap meet) as a lucky charm for the motorcyle.
- we used or usual Triumph T120 handlebar (black powder coated)
- and ordered from Biltwell their famous “banana seat”
- the electric wiring has been fully simplified in-house
- some Posh red glittered grips have been chosen
Original Firestone Military tires have been mounted on both front and rear wheels.
Vintage military “gas mask pouches” have been installed to carry the gear you need when hitting the road (a few tools, motor oil, and extra bottles of gasoline… just in case)
